Unit 1: Independent Study Skills

This unit aims to equip students with the skills needed to identify a suitable course of study, how to organize their study time effectively and addressing any personal challenges they may have.

Students will also develop skills to be able to conduct research effectively, using a range of research methods and reading techniques.

Unit 2: Career Skills.

This unit provides students with an understanding of how to solve problems in a learning environment (the college) and to develop skills required by employers.
