Health and Social Care BTEC Diploma Level 2 at St Helens College
Prepare yourself to start an amazing career in one of the health and social care professions. Working in this industry is extremely important, as you will have people relying on you every day.
At St Helens College you'll learn all the skills and knowledge you need to excel in your job, including how to treat all patients fairly and with respect.
You'll also have the chance to put your new skills into practice when you go on work placement in the sector.
You need four GCSEs at grade D or above.
English and maths forms an important part of your future, ensuring you achieve the best success in your chosen career. But don't worry, if you haven't got the desired grades, we will still have a course available for you.
You will be assessed through written assignments, reports, presentations and leaflets or guides for workers in the sector.
If you are a school leaver, aged 16-18, (under the age of 19 on or before 31st August 2016), you do not pay tuition fees or examination and registration fees and may be eligible for additional support depending on your financial situation.
You may choose to progress into employment and begin your career. Alternatively, you could continue your studies with us at level 3.
