NCFE Entry Level 2 Award in Functional Skills ICT at Skills 4 U Ltd

Course description

The qualification is designed to develop and assess functional ICT at Entry Level as determined by the functional skills standards Entry Level.

This qualification will encourage learners to demonstrate their lCT skills and are essentially concerned with developing and recognising the ability of learners to apply and transfer skills in ways that are appropriate to their situation. Functional skills are recognised as vital to learner's personal development, increasing both confidence and effectiveness.

Course content

The qualification and assessment are intended to enhance skills application and deployment across a range of contexts. The functional skills qualifications will provide a platform to further achievement through the development of fundamental, applied skills in key subject areas. The knowledge, skills and problem-solving approaches contained within the qualification provide tools that can be utilised in work, life and further learning.

Entry requirements

There are no formal qualifications needed as students are referred through school. 

Assessment

Continual assessment and end testing.

There are no financial costs to the student all fees are paid by the school students are enrolled with.

Once you have completed the Entry Level  ICT Functional  Skills the student can move onto the next level
