Italian A2 at Tomlinscote School and Sixth Form College

Course description

All language study develops the grammatical work from GCSE but continues to an appreciation of the culture and literature in that language. The course includes Day to day matters, The environment and citizenship, Society, The International Context and The Working World. The modules at A2 level are Unit 4 – Interpreting, Unit 5 – Prescribed Topics + texts, Unit 6 – Listening, reading + writing.

Future opportunities

You could take this course with other advanced level course or equivalent to prepare for higher education in Italian, Languages or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to Italian or Languages such as a Teacher, Translator, or you may wish to use your Italian to study or work over in Italy. The course will also help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for, especially in the travel and tourism sector.
