Course content

Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
 
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
Functional Skills Level 2 English, Maths and ICT
Personal Learner Thinking Skills (PLTs)
Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Paid employment
 
Apprenticeships are delivered 100% in the workplace; learners will work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
 

 

Entry requirements

Candidates must have an A-C GCSE qualification in Engish, Maths and ICT
 
OR be capable of achieving the Level 1 Functional Skills that are offered as part of the apprenticeship package.
 
Apprenticeships are delivered to those people aged 16 plus.
 
Candidates must be committed to the programme and hard working.
 
Sufficient works experience is required for Advanced Apprenticeships and a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification is essential. 

Assessment

Portfolio work plus online Functional Skill assessments.
 
Support is provided by apprentices designated Training Assessor.
 

Financial information

National minimum wage for apprentices is £2.73 per hour. Employers may offer to pay more based on previous experience and the nature of the role.
