Philosophy A level at South Devon College

Course description

The A Level in Philosophy and Ethics is a two year programme, which is currently taught in an AS and A2 year (grades at AS will determine your progression to A2 Level) through modules studying the philosophy of religion and ethics. You will learn through discussion-based learning alongside essay writing and evaluating challenging and interesting topics, which include questions such as 'does God exist?' 'is this world real?' and ethical dilemmas such as abortion, euthanasia and war.
