This creative Hair and Beauty qualification is ideal for learners looking for a career in Hair or Beauty or a combined Hair and Beauty career.

Course content

Units will enable learners to gain a broad background knowledge of the hairdressing and beauty therapy industries and the skills and knowledge required for employment. The range of units may include: Health & Safety, client care and consultation, facial skin care, waxing, manicure and pedicure, eye care, make up, cutting, colouring and dressing hair.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for candidates who have four GCSEs at grade A*-D/9-3 including English and Mathematics.

All applicants will be interviewed to judge their suitability and a satisfactory reference is required.

    • The site at Kingston Hall Road is the College's main site and houses the Student Registry and Welfare departments as well as Deli KC and the ACT Theatre.  The Arena Sports facility and Arena Hair and Beauty are both attached to this building, which also houses the central administration facility for the College.
