History A Level at Harrow College
For students who have successfully completed AS History at grade D or above.
Economic, political, social and military history from 1600 to 1950.
Formal teaching, class discussions, documentaries, analysis of sources; a strong emphasis on essay writing skills, including coursework.
A successful completion of the two AS units, preferably from the Harrow College Syllabus.
One exam unit [60%] and one coursework unit [40%].

A full A Level in History is highly regarded by universities for those students applying for academic degrees in areas such as Politics, Law, Social Sciences or Liberal Arts.
Equipment or materials:
Pen, writing pad and course books.
Two textbooks, approximately £10.00 each.
