Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration at Norfolk Training Services
The City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration is a competence based qualification. The qualification will accredit competence in the requirements of the work place in the context of a business environment. The qualification will provide learners with an array of business functional areas and specialisms from which they may achieve competence in a variety of contexts.
- Administration Officer / Executive - Dealing with internal and external correspondence, organising meetings and events, producing documents, managing resources, managing office equipment, managing information.
- Administration Team Leader / Office Supervisor - Dealing with internal and external correspondence, organising meetings and events, producing documents, managing resources, managing office equipment, managing information, managing administration systems, managing office facilities.
- Personal Assistant - Making and receiving telephone calls, managing diaries, organising ravel, organising meetings and events, handling correspondence, creating documents, developing presentations.
- Secretary - Dealing with internal and external correspondence, organising meetings, taking minutes at meetings, managing diaries, producing documents, transcribing notes, managing information.
Once on programme with NTS, an assessor will be assigned to each learner. The assessor will carry out an induction to the course and pre arrange visits for approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, on these visits the assessor will assess learners carrying out practical tasks that they would complete in their day to day job role, the assessor will also assess knowledge reports and case studies that learners have completed and carry out discussions, questions and witness testimonies, they will also set targets for the next meeting.
