Games Design - Level 2 Diploma at Middlesbrough College

Course description

This course is aimed at students who have a genuine interest and passion for production within the Games Industry. A collection of creative and production focused modules encourages students to be creative and business mined.

Course content

Modules include:- • Digital Media Sectors and audiences • Planning and Pitching • Games Testing • Digital Games Production • Animation for Digital Graphics • Digital Publishing and Graphic design • Writing for Digital Unit • Website Production • Digital Art for Media Products

Entry requirements

To gain entry to this course you must possess a minimum of four or more GCSE’s at Grade D or above, to include a minimum of a Grade D in English (or an equivalent qualification). You must also undertake a successful interview and provide a satisfactory reference. An interest in Art would also be desirable. "If you do not have a Grade A to C in English and/or Maths, you will be required to continue studying these subjects as part of your Study Programme."


Continuous through successfully completing a series of assignments and projects. One in course Exam.
