Media Studies at The Marlborough School

Course description

You will undertake a close and detailed study of a range of media texts, institutions and technologies. You will be required to show evidence of the ways in which contextual factorsand media concepts inform your own reading, and demonstrate your skills of interpretation and evaluation in giving articulate, well-argued responses to questions. You will also learn the practical and creative aspects of film language to enable you to produce your own media text, demonstrating pre-production, production and post-production skills.

Entry requirements

GCSE English and English Literature at Grade C or above
