Intermediate Apprenticeship in Hospitality – Front of House Reception at Norfolk Training Services
At Level 2, the Diploma in Hospitality aims to build on or recognise good practice in hospitality to support technical expertise in any job role, acknowledging the importance of effective communication and service delivery. These qualifications cover a good grounding and meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in the hospitality industry.
- Receptionist - Greeting guests on arrival, making a good first impression, deal with reservations, use office equipment and systems, prepare guest bills, and ensure that information goes to the housekeeping, restaurant, maintenance, and management departments.
Once on programme with NTS, an assessor will be assigned to each learner. The assessor will carry out an induction to the course and pre arrange visits for approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, on these visits the assessor will assess learners carrying out practical tasks that they would complete in their day to day job role, the assessor will also assess knowledge reports and case studies that learners have completed and carry out discussions, questions and witness testimonies, they will also set targets for the next meeting.
