A Level Psychology at Hardenhuish School

Course description

Psychology is a fascinating subject with many applications to
real life. Through the scientific study of human behaviour and
experience, students will learn skills such as memory
improvement and stress management techniques. As well as
finding out about why people do the things that they do, they
will be able to gain a deeper appreciation of real life issues such
as abnormality, aggression and relationships.
Psychology is a challenging subject in which students will be
stretched as they attempt to consider many human problems
from a scientific perspective. It will increase students’ evaluative
skills and therefore help them to become better learners,
whatever the future holds for them.
