Course description

With esg you will learn cutting edge techniques from the best trainers and stylists in the industry. These are full time jobs with training towards recognised vocational qualifications, so you will learn your trade as you do it. Apprenticeship features

The apprenticeship is available at Intermediate and Advanced levels depending on your age and ability, and includes an NVQ certificate or diploma in Hairdressing, as well as essential qualifications in maths and English to support your ongoing development.

You will be guided by our professional assessors every step of the way who provide one-to-one support and guidance throughout your programme.

What skills will I learn?

What you learn will vary depending on the needs of the job and your employer, but you are likely to learn the following:

  • Shampooing, conditioning
  • Treating the hair and scalp
  • Styling and finishing hair
  • Assisting with colouring
  • Reception duties
  • Providing hairdressing consultation services
  • Selling hair care products

Where can it lead?

With an Apprenticeship you can progress onto advanced, higher or even degree level training. As you move up you gain more experience and responsibility and many people naturally become team leaders, managers or owners of their own business.
