Biology A Level at South Sefton College

Course description

At AS, you will study cells, exchange and transport, molecules, biodiversity, food and health. At A-level, you will study communication, homeostasis and energy, control, genomes and the environment as well as being assessed on AS topics. You will also develop a range of practical skills.

Entry requirements

Grade B in GCSE Biology (as a separate science) or BB in GCSE dual award Science (Core and Additional). You will also need a minimum of a grade C in GCSE Mathematics.
