Y13 Course Content 1. Witchcraze 1580-1750 (Britain, Europe and North America) 2. Work of the Historian
Independent and group research and presentations, formal teaching, use of written and non-written sources, discussion, peer teaching, essay writing, opportunities for review and reflection.
Subject specific entry requirements: GCSE grade B in History or GCSE grade 6 in English Language or English Literature if History not studied at GCSE.
History is useful for degrees such as Law and Politics and can, with other A/AS Levels, also contribute to careers in archaeology, architecture, economics, town planning, journalism etc.
