Painting and Decorating Level 3 at East Kent College
Perfect if you want to develop more advanced painting and decorating and interior design skills.
You’ll learn how to apply wide wall coverings and carry out specialist architectural feature work, as well as refining your painting and wallpapering skills. You can look forward to the chance to project manage real community based projects and participate in skills competitions.This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at C grades or equivalent, including Maths and English. Students may be able to progress from Level 2 vocationally related programmes.
You will learn through practical sessions in our workshop environments and assessment will be through written work and online tests.
Additional expenses to consider include safety boots, bib and brace decorator whites at an approximate total cost of £45. If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials. If you are aged 24 and over an Advanced Learning loan may be available if you are studying at Level 3 and above.
