Psychology A/S at Queensbury School

Course description

This course introduces students to the theories and methods of psychology. It offers students the opportunity to look at some of the explanations psychologists provide in trying to understand humans and their interactions with the world. This course is AS only.

Course content

The course aims to develop both candidates psychological skills and their psychological knowledge. Candidates study a variety of psychological research studies that represent the range of psychologists interests and the methods they use.

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of 5 A*-C grades (or equivalent) in your GCSEs, including at least a grade C in the related subject. and a gradeC in GCSE English.

To progress into the second year, you need to have passed the first year.
