Licensed Hospitality Intermediate Apprenticeship at Exeter College

Course description

To study this qualification you will be employed within the licensed hospitality industry whether that is a pub, nightclub, hotel, restaurant or bar. This apprenticeship will assess all the skills you use on a daily basis.

Mix and match from all the NVQ units to acquire a professional qualification that recognises your current job role gaining the standard certificates you need to get started into licensed hospitality.
You will:
- Learn how to maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working environment
- Choose from options relating to your role, such as units in maintaining cellars and kegs, barista skills and ordering stock
- Complete a Technical Certificate Level 2 Certificate in Licensed Hospitality Operations

Entry requirements

You need four GCSEs at Grade D or above (including English and maths) and need to complete an initial assessment at college as part of the application process.
