It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electrotechnology sector.

Candidates should already hold the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) (2365-02) or equivalent in order to complete the qualification satisfactorily.
The Level 3 qualification is designed for entrants who already hold a level 2 or equivalent. This qualification will provide you with the skills and experience you need to progress into the industry. ?This Level 3 Diploma will suit you if you want to learn the technical knowledge of electrotechnical principles and practice to help start off your career in the electrical sector.
The level 3 is assessed through a range of methods. These include on line exams, written exams, written assignments and practical exams.
16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
It allows candidates to progress into employment, although not as a fully qualified electrician, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications: . _Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services . _Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology . _Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations . _Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations . _Level 4 Award in Design and Verification of Electrical Installations
