Plumbing Studies Level 2 Diploma at Aylesbury College

Course description

This course enables you to specialise in plumbing directly related to industrial standards.

Course content

You will gain an-depth look at general domestic plumbing principals.

 

Example modules Bending Techniques Fabrication of Plastic and Copper Pipework Measuring and Recording Installation of Plumbing Systems Designing and Maintaining of Systems

 

Entry requirements

3 GCSEs at D or above one of which must be English or Maths, or full Level 1 qualification at Merit grade or above. You will need to show genuine interest in the plumbing industry. Entry is also dependant on an interview.

Assessment

There will be 24 practical exams and 11 theory exams throughout the year.

Financial information

A course contribution fee of £50.00, this covers one external trade related trip and one textbook. You will be required to supply your own boots and overalls.

Future opportunities

You could progress onto advanced plumbing studies.

You will be able to find employment in the plumbing industry.
