Course description

This course is designed to provide opportunities for investigation, designing, making and evaluation of food products. Students study the various properties of different foods, the effects of processing them and the selection of appropriate equipment. Techniques and processes for both mass production and one off products are also studied. How will I be assessed? Part 1: Coursework 60% Including the practical and design folder Part 2: End of Course examination40%
