Art and Design - Design Level 3 Apprenticeship (ADF1) at Barnsley College

Course description

This Apprenticeship covers roles across the creative and digital media industries.

Course content

Course themes:

• Research a design concept

• Write a design brief

• Collaborate in a creative process

• Develop and deliver a presentation

• Develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade A*to C.

It is desirable that you have maths and English at grade C/4 or above but this is not essential as Functional Skills is delivered as part of the apprenticeship programme.

You need to be employed within the design and creative industry or have an employer in this area willing to take you on as an apprentice.  

Assessment

You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in College and in your place of work.
