Graphic Design at Belper School and Sixth Form Centre

Course description

The first year will entail exploring artists, techniques and materials to build up a portfolio. The second will entail completing a personal investigation where students investigate a theme. This will originate from a gallery visit and students will use this as a springboard for graphic art pieces. A practical and academic balance ensures that this course is accepted at all universities.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for students who have a C+ grade in Creative Graphic Design or Art.

Assessment

Personal Investigation 60%
Controlled Assignment 40%
