Course description

What will I study on this course?

This course examines the origins and development of the English Law system. It evaluates its effectiveness, examines the various personnel roles within the system and explores the key concepts of both the civil and criminal legal systems. You will understand the impact of European and Human Rights law on our domestic system and how miscarriages of justice have happened in the past and how they still happen today. If you have a keen interest in the rights and liberties of others and how our legal system holds society together, this is the course for you.

To access this course successfully you will need a Grade C in English or above.
