Art, Craft and Design A level at Bradford College

Course description

A level  - two years

These qualifications allow for progression from AS to full A level and can be stand-alone qualifications or studied alongside other qualifications.

You will benefit from studying in the Bradford School of Art with its specialist facilities and experienced staff, most of who are practising Artists and Designers.

 

 

 

 

Course content

You will normally choose one of the titles below for study:

  • Art, Craft and Design
  • Fine Art
  • Graphic Communication
  • Textile Design
  • Three Dimensional Design
  • Photography.
 

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at a minimum of Grade C including English and Mathematics and Grade B in an Art and Design or related subject.

 

Assessment

Assessment is through:

  • Personal investigation:
  • An externally set assignment which includes a preparatory period plus 15 hours supervised time.
