Level 2 Trowel Occupations - Bricklaying NVQ/Diploma Apprenticeship (Full Framework) at Floortrain GB Ltd
The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in bricklaying to demonstrate their competence.

Rules of Combination (ROC) Requirements
The L2 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations uses the Rules of Combination (ROC) requirements. You must select and achieve units across optional groups which are available
To achieve this qualification you must complete 6 units. This comprises the 5 mandatory units plus 1 unit from 1 optional unit group.
QCF01- Conforming to general safety in the workplace
QCF02- Conforming to efficient working practices in the workplace
QCF03- Moving and handling resources in the workplace
QCF40 - Erecting masonry structures in the workplace
QCF41 - Setting out masonry structures in the workplace
There are 8 Mandatory units to complete. Units are divided into theory and practical sessions.
Students must complete ALL of the following units to achieve the diploma:

CC 1002K Knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with
CC 1002S Information, quantities and communicating with others 1

CC 1014K Know how to carry out basic blocklaying skills
CC 1014S Carry out basic blocklaying skills
CC 1015K Know how to carry out basic bricklaying skills
CC 1015S Carry out basic bricklaying skills
CC 1016K Know how to carry out basic cavity walling
CC 1016S Carry out basic cavity walling
CC 1017K Know how to contribute to setting out and building basic masonry
structures up to damp course level
CC 1017S Contribute to setting out and building basic masonry structures up to
damp course level
You must be aged 16 or over. Candidates must be living in England and not taking part in full-time education. Candidates must be employed in an appropriate job role and able to attend college on block release.
You will be required to complete 8 multiple choice unit end tests and 1 synoptic practical test at the end of your qualification.
You will be required to complete an online mulitple choice test.

On successful completion of the course students will be able to work full-time within the construction industry or study a specialised trade at a higher level.
