Course description

Whether you are decided or unsure on the area of work you want to go into, ‘Work Skills’ can be beneficial to your career progression and help develop important employability, personal and social skills.

Work Skills consists of a variety of different units that you can choose from so that your qualification is personal to you and best meets your needs.  Units address necessities such as creating a CV, completing application forms, interview preparation, solving problems and health and safety at work, to name but a few.

Work Skills is an accredited qualification so you will receive a certificate on completion.

All units within your qualification will be personalised to you – in order to meet your needs – whilst also giving you the opportunity to develop your key skills and overall knowledge in regards to this work area.

Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT elements are embedded into the units as are employability skills and confidence building exercises to allow you to develop yourself as an individual and improve your job prospects.
