Course description

This course is for anyone who would like an introduction to the agriculture industry. It is suitable for pre-16s, school leavers, or adults looking for either progression or a change in career.

Entry requirements

You will need to have an interest in agriculture and possess a standard of general education and competence, but no formal qualifications are necessary. Assessment of suitability is likely to be based upon interview.

Assessment

Your progress will be assessed by a multiple choice test, externally set assignments and a portfolio of evidence.

Future opportunities

After completing the course you could progress into employment, or on to a level 2 qualification.
