Childcare Apprenticeship at Parenta Training

Course description

As an Apprentice you will be employed by a local Childcare Provider and gain on hand experience within the sector. You will be allocated an assessor who will visit you in your workplace and will be on hand throughout your programme to guide and assist you with your training.  Your Assessor will conduct onsite visits giving you support and guidance to help you achieve your qualification.

Course content

You will learn the underpinning knowledge required to work within an Early Years setting which will include the following elements:

Child Development

Principles and Values

Supporting Childrens Play

Supporting the provision of safe and effective Childcare Environments

Entry requirements

If you are aged 16-19, Employed and hold a full National Insurance Number then please give us a call.

Assessment

Your Assessor will visit your workplace to conduct observations whilst you are working in a Nursery setting, you will have assignments and questions to complete as well as gather work products on your daily routines.

Financial information

If you are aged between 16-18 the coruse is provided free of charge.

Future opportunities

Once you have complete the Apprenticeship in Childcare you will then be able to progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship.
