Film Studies A2 level at Lord Grey School
Film Studies demands practical, creative and analytical skills. Students will extend their understanding of film and how it influences audiences and their ability to create their own film texts.
The course comprises of four units, covering film analysis, research and production, and develops key skills required for university courses or careers in the film industry. Due to the substantial written element, a firm grasp of the English language and success in GCSE English is essential to anyone wishing to study the course.
4 x A*-C grades and 1 x B grade is needed. You also need English or Mathematics as a minimum at C grade.
Two examined units and two internally assessed units across AS and A2.
