Course description

ITQ Level 1 - IT Office Applications

ITQ is a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification in IT. The course allows students to gain and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required to use a computer effectively. You will learn a variety of Microsoft IT applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Internet and Email.

Entry requirements

Standard college initial assessment is used to establish that the students have an adequate level of English and Maths and IT skills for ITQ 1. An interview with the course tutor is required to make sure that the course is appropriate for the student.

Future opportunities

Students can progress to a level 2 IT course or to employment.
