Further Mathematics AS & A Level at Queen Elizabeth's School

Course description

AS and A2 Further Mathematics are demanding courses which require a high level of skill. They are designed for the strongest Mathematicians and it is a qualification highly valued by all top universities.

Students studying Further Mathematics will also complete Mathematics at AS and A2 level.

Course content

The AS course consists of three modules. FP1 introduces new concepts such as complex numbers and matrices. D1 is a Decision Mathematics module and involves the study of algorithms and networks. The third module will be M1 which is also covered in the A2 Mathematics course.
