Extended Project - AS Level at Swanshurst School

Course description

EXTENDED PROJECT – AS LEVEL The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is challenging and exciting. It gives you the freedom to conduct research, in a subject area of your choice. You will research and plan a dissertation (a developed essay) and will present your evaluation of your own work. The project helps in developing independent thinking and creative learners. The skills that you develop through the Extended Project are excellent preparation for university-level study. Students can refer to the Extended Project in their UCAS personal statements and at interview to demonstrate some of the qualities that universities are looking for. The Extended Project is an AS Level qualification which will be graded A* to E, and attracts up to 70 UCAS tariff points. Entry requirements

Progression to AS Level Extended Project will require at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above. Exam Board: www.wjec.co.uk
