Mathematics at Marlwood School
Mathematics at A level is both interesting and exciting. It builds on the skills and ideas you covered at GCSE and introduces you to different areas of mathematics. You will be studying the following topics:
Pure Mathematics, Mechanics (the study of forces and their effect), Statistics (the collection, analysis and interpretation of data).
• AS Mathematics - 3 modules taken in Year 12
• A level Mathematics - AS + 3 further modules taken in Year 13
Mathematics - at least a grade B in GCSE Mathematics
