GCE AS Level Psychology at Queen Elizabeth School
Modules taken are: Cognitive Psychology and Development Psychology - you will look at memory, how the environment and our emotions influence how we think and behave - the consequences if an infant is kept away from its mother for long periods, we will discuss the evidence on this and other questions crucial to a child's development. Physiological and Psychology and Individual Differences - Stress (what is it, causes?), psychological problems and treatment of mental health. Social Psychology and Research Methods - this is about understanding what factors lead people to behave as part of a group, or act as an individual. You'll look at different research methods and data.
GCSE passes in five subjects with grades A - C, including Maths and Science plus an interview and a reference.
