Art and Design at Charlton School

Course description

This course provides a first step towards a career in Art and Design. You will study a range of units exploring exciting areas of 3D and 2D materials. You will look at the work of other artists, and use the skills you have developed to carry out creative projects and assignments. Students can develop their creative skills and progress onto higher level art and design courses. Areas explored include ceramics, graphics, textiles, painting, print and drawing. Your course will also give you the opportunity to visit galleries, museums and exhibitions.

Entry requirements

Predicted SATs Level 5/6, good attendance, good tutor or school report and an interview.
