Route 2 Tech Bacc Pathway in Engineering or IT (Level 3) at The Leigh UTC

Course description

This route is studied over two years and has a more vocational bias. It can lead to studying in higher education, for example, at a university, employment or a higher apprenticeship.

Course content

Students will choose either BTEC level 3 extended diploma in Engineering or Information and Creative Technology.

To be awarded the Tech Bacc, students  will also have to complete a core maths programme as well as  AS level  Extended Project.

Entry requirements

At least 5 GCSE's at grade A* - C (including maths and english).
