Course content

The course will include Particles, Quantum Phenomena and Electricity.  Mechanics, Materials and Waves.  Fields and Further Mechanics.  Section A: Nuclear and Thermal Physics, Section B: Astrophysics/Medical Physics/Applied Physics, Turning Points in Physics. 

Entry requirements

Our entry requirement is that you need to have a record of proven commitment to study, a good attendance record and be willing to complete the courses.  We shall also take into account your GCSE results.

Future opportunities

If you take a Physics degree at University you could have a career in Research and Development, Engineering, Teaching, Information Technology, Medicine, Meteorology and Finance.
