BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Great Marlow School
This qualification gives learners the opportunity to plan, set up and run their own business through a structured programme of learning. They learn about business finance, how to set up a supply chain, how to communicate with customers, monitor the performance of the business and plan for future expansion. During the course, learners have the opportunity to interact with employers and gain experience dealing with real business issues.
The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship consists of three mandatory (compulsory) units plus optional units.
Students must meet the school entry criteria into Sixth Form, have at least a grade C in English Language, a pass grade in a BTEC Level 2 Business course, a grade C in GCSE Business or an OCR Cambridge National Certificate in Business and Enterprise at a Pass grade. If Business has not been studied before, a Level 2 pass in IT functional skills.
This two year course is equivalent to 1.5 A Levels.
