Business Administration Levels 2 and 3 Apprenticeship at Bradford College

Course description

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training.

If working in a general office environment appeals to you, then a course in Business Administration will fit the bill. You will gain a wide range of office skills, the ability to work successfully in a team – plus a recognised qualification with an Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration through City & Guilds.

Course content

Modules at Level 2 include:

  • Organising Meetings & Events
  • Dealing With Travel Requests
  • Handling Mail
  • Using Electronic Message Systems & Office Equipment
     

Modules at Level 3 include:

  • Dealing With Internal & External Correspondence
  • Producing Documents
  • Managing Resources
  • Managing Information
  • Creating Documents
  • Developing Presentations
     

All work-based Diplomas at Level 2 and Level 3 have various Optional Units selected based on the employment requirements.

You will be required to study a technical qualification at City Training Services.

Entry requirements

Level 2: GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade A*-E or Entry 3 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.

Level 3: GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade A*-C or Level 1 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.

You will be required to have a PC with access to the internet.
