Brickwork Level 2 Diploma at Northumberland College

Course description

The course is for anyone who has an interest in the construction industry who would like to develop their skills and knowledge to become a bricklayer qualified to a level 2 diploma standard.

Course content

You will learn thin joint masonry cladding, solid walling, cavity walling and both isolated and attached piers. Ideal if you would like to further develop your bricklaying skills and knowledge.

Entry requirements

You should have two GCSEs at grade D in English and Maths or a relevant Level 1 qualification and have an interest in bricklaying

Assessment

Your progress will be assessed through practical and knowledge assignments throughout the course as your skills and knowledge develops.

Future opportunities

After successfully completing the course you could progress onto a Level 3 Diploma in Brickwork which will enhance your skills and knowledge to advanced craft level and equip you with supervisory and management skills.
