A2 Level: Film Studies at William Bradford Community College

Course description

Film is the most important invention of the twentieth century.  In Film Studies you learn about British, Hollywood and World Cinema.  You learn Film Language by looking at individual scenes while also examining the bigger picture by studying production, direction, actors, storylines and the audience.

Entry requirements

GCSE in English and 4 other subjects at grade C or above

Future opportunities

Film Studies is particularly important if you want a career in the media. Many of the skills you use in Film Studies are similar to the skills you use in Media Studies and English.
