Course content

Following on from the PEO NVQ Level 2, this course enables you to specialise in your chosen field.

What will I study?

•Awareness of the engineering environment

•Engineering techniques

•Engineering principles

•Electrical and electronic principles

•Electrical installation methods

•Electrical testing and fault diagnosis

What added value will I receive?

•Employability skills •Improve English grade to GCSE grade C or above

•Working with industry grade equipment in state of the art modern workshops

•You will be building credits towards the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Engineering

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths grade C or above
• GCSE English grade D or above
• You will be required to successfully complete an interview with a course tutor
where you must be able to demonstrate a strong willingness and commitment to this
programme of study
