GCSE English Language at Little Heath School

Course description

The Cambridge iGCSE in English is a recognised GCSE qualification that is designed to develop students’ skills in communicating clearly, accurately and effectively when speaking and writing. Students will learn how to use a wide range of vocabulary and correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Analytical skills, such as inference, will also be developed.

This course offers students the ideal oppor tunity to achieve an all important GCSE Grade C qualification in English that is sought after by so many colleges, universities and indeed employers.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for students who have narrowly missed a Grade C in English in previous attempts. The qualification will be taken alongside other A Level and BTEC courses, usually inYear 12.
