Economics at King Charles I School

Course description

Economics is about choice and the impact of our choices on each other. It relates to every aspect of our lives, from the decisions we make as individuals or families to the structures created by governments and firms. The economic way of thinking can help us make better choices.

The modules studied at AS level will be:
* Markets in Action
* The National and International Economy

The modules studied as A2 level will be:
* Economics of Work and Leisure
* The Global Economy

Entry requirements

Economics is open to anyone and students do not need to have studied Business Studies.

GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics is essential.
