Course description

This modular course is made up of 5 external examinations, taken at various points throughout the 2 years, assessment activities which are taken in class and an assessment of practical skills.

Entry requirements

Entrance requirements – none, although this course must be taken with GCSE Biology and Physics.

Future opportunities

You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in Science and specialise further in Chemistry or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification.With further training, you could go into a job related to science and Chemistry such as a Science Teacher, Pharmacist or Chemical Scientist.You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
