Course description

Are you a people person who cares and enjoys being active in the community?

This Apprenticeship lasts for one year and includes a minimum of 30 hours paid employment. You’ll gain excellent skills, Maths, English and IT qualifications, a Diploma and build your confidence working with a variety of vulnerable adults through-out the community.

This varied Apprenticeship could include medication support or companionship to assisting someone in their everyday life or helping them at the end of their life.

Course content

You will be working in a vital and pivotal role in the community supporting people with particular needs. Working with other healthcare professionals in the care of individuals, a Health and Social Care Apprentice will gain the knowledge and skills needed to work in a variety of settings.

Financial information

Minimum wage of £2.68 per hour but may be higher depending on the employer.
