Course description

You should study history if you wish to learn how and why the world and its peoples came to be as they are today. Do you find learning about past events, characters and conflicts enjoyable? Then you should consider studying AS history. If you want to develop your skills through group work, presentations, analytical discussion and debate, research and extended writing then you should definitely consider AS history!

Unit two: The making of Modern Britain:

 The Impact of Thatcherism, 1979–1987

 Towards a new Consensus, 1987–1997
