Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance Advanced Apprenticeship at Northampton College
These qualifications are designed to provide new entrants and those seeking progression in their career, with the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the installation and maintenance of Electrotechnical systems. This qualification is available at Level 3 only, which is the level that the Electrotechnical industry recognises learners as having achieved the competence required to carry out the role. To complete these qualifications, you will cover topics including: - Health and Safety legislation - Principles of planning and selection for the installation of electrotechnical equipment and systems - Fault finding.You will also need to complete Functional Skills in: - English - Maths - ICTPersonal Learning and Thinking Skills and Employees Rights and Responsibilities.
This pathway of the Electrical Installation Apprenticeship is for those who have now gained employment as an apprentice and already hold the 2330 qualification at Level 2 and 3.
Employed as an Apprentice for electrical installation or maintenance and has already achieved 2330 Level 2 and 3 qualifications. You must also pass a Level 2 diagnostic in English and Maths with a minimum of 50%.
Additional theory units will be assessed via an exam. Practical units will be assessed in the workplace through observation and building of site diaries. AM2 exam. Functional Skills to be assessed through examination.
